Visiting Seki Swordsmith Museum

 "わああ、かるいいい"それは、初めて本物の刀を持っていた。

Since I was kid, after watching anime Rurouni Kenshin るろうに剣心, I have big interest with Katana. I have my own Katana, it's Sakabatou 逆刃刀 made in Sukabumi, Indonesia. Cheap, heavy, but trust me the details is terrific. But with that weight, I wonder if the same weight real Katana is effective for fight.

I have tried to talk about Katana and the history with my classmate at Japanese language school. But all of them know nothing until I realized that none has interest with Katana. But once upon a time, my Sensei show a Samurai Warrior suite from his laptop's wallpaper and suddenly we found that we have same interest after I told him that I also have Katana.
It's an honor and great experience to be taken to the Seki Swordsmith Museum. Seki is a small city well known for Swordsmith for hundred years. There I saw many types of Katana and the best thing is the first time I hold the real one, the real Katana. "Wow, so light!". And then I understand that the real Katana is very strong but light.
At the same time I messaged my friend in Indonesia "wow, Tamahagane" as we used to watch Tamahagane's processing on YouTube.
An experience I will never forgive. 先生、ありがとうございます。😇
